Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026

Most of the people who use Allay are students, and many are under 18. This policy is written to be readable by them and their parents, because both deserve to know exactly what happens to their information.

Who we are

Allay is operated by Ivy Allay LLC, a company organized in the State of Connecticut, United States, and reachable at info@ivy-allay.com. "Allay", "we", and "us" in this policy refer to that company and the services on this site: student placements, advisory, tutoring, and webinars.

What we collect

We collect only what the services need to run:

How we use it

Your information is used for exactly four things: reviewing your application, matching you with placements and mentors, delivering the service you booked, and replying to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

When we share it

Two cases, both narrow:

Students under 18

Applicants under 18 must provide a parent or guardian email, and we include that adult on important communications about the engagement. A parent or guardian can review, correct, or delete their student’s information at any time by writing to us.

Allay is built for high school and university students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.

How long we keep it

Applications and engagement records are kept while your engagement is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so returning students do not start from zero. Ask us to delete your information and we will, promptly and completely, unless a legal obligation requires keeping a specific record.

Your choices

Email us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. There is no form to hunt for and no waiting period; a plain email from you, or from your parent or guardian, is enough.

Third-party services

Scheduling runs on Cal.com and form delivery runs on FormSubmit, each governed by its own privacy policy while processing your booking or submission. Links to LinkedIn and Instagram lead to platforms with their own policies.

Accessibility

This site is built to work with keyboards and screen readers, with visible focus states, labeled form fields, and text contrast that meets WCAG guidelines. If anything on the site is hard for you to use, tell us and we will fix it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and note the change here. Material changes affecting students under 18 are also announced to the parent or guardian email on file.

Questions about this policy or your information: info@ivy-allay.com. We answer privacy emails from students and parents alike, usually within two business days.
